Unplug the door latch connector and set up across the lock solenoid terminals with the test light.
Sebring door locks not working.
The doors will automatically lock upon shutting off the engine and get out of my 1998 chrysler sebring.
Remove the ignition key and test the keyless entry.
Unlocking by using the transmitter or switches is still possible.
If a secondary keyless remote is the one not working repeat this step for that remote.

If all of the door locks are inoperative start your diagnosis at the fuse box.

Door locks with remote it only.
They will not reopen with or without a key.
Click both the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on the remote release both then click and release just the unlock button.
Pressing the unlock and lock button should then cause the test light to light up.
2001 sebring convertible keyless entry system.
Since a couple of days i can t lock the doors by using the transmitter or by using the switches inside the car.
The lights flash the horn sounds as if the function has been successful.
All functions work except the remote will not lock the doors.
The central locking is not working more often than not.
Remove the panel cover and you will see an unmarked fuse with what appears to be black fuse pullers attached to it 4 people found this helpful.

Consult the fuse box placard or your owners manual for fuse designations and ratings.
Open the fuse box found on the far left side of the dash with the drivers door open.
I have a problem with the door locks of my car a 2001 sebring convertible.
My lights on the dash dim some times and if i hit a bump the radio goes off.

Inspect the fuse that protects the door lock circuit to ensure it is not blown.
