Sienna Sliding Door Stuck

We have an 05 sienna and like everyone every winter the side sliding doors freeze.

Latch motor failure sometimes the side door will struggle to open when you press the button to automatically open it. Most common problem is the motor of the latch fails. We can think of a few common reasons. If you pull the handle on the inside or outside it doesn t open the door it behaves just like it is locked.

If you push the open button inside the car or on the fob you can hear the motor try to open but the door doesn t budge and the motor stops after a second.
